Hi there! I’m Ellen…a mom, wife, bulldog lover, Jesus follower, and the founder of The Simple Agent.
Hey there! I’m Ellen Nichols – I’ve been in marketing for almost 2 decades (I actually hate saying that because it makes me feel so old 😅). A few years ago, I became a licensed real estate agent myself… and before I knew it, other agents were constantly asking, “Can you help me with my social media?”
It started with coffee shop meetups, brainstorming sessions, and creating content for local agents who just wanted to show up online without the overwhelm. That’s when I realized how much I loved helping agents simplify their marketing and grow their businesses.
I created The Simple Agent because I knew firsthand how much real estate agents were juggling. I wanted to give agents the content, tools, strategies, and support they needed to market their businesses well…without spending hours trying to do it all themselves.
But over the years, my vision for The Simple Agent has grown into something bigger than just marketing.
My faith in Jesus is at the center of how I want to live, lead, and build this business. I believe the businesses we’ve been given can be used for so much more than followers, closings, and commission checks. They’re an opportunity to serve people well, build genuine relationships, steward the gifts God has given us, and make an impact far beyond the closing table.
Today, I have the privilege to help agents all over the world save time, grow with purpose, and build businesses and lives they love.
But my hope is that The Simple Agent doesn’t just make your marketing easier. My prayer is that somewhere along the way, it points you closer to Jesus.

No problem! I provide instructions on how to personalize it to you and your market.
Plus, you can customize to add your logo, headshot, and branding colors.
You also don’t need to follow the calendar, you can skip to past months – you’ll never run out of content to post.
Do you post for me?
No, we provide you with all of the tools and content you need to post on your own.
Many of our members like to schedule their posts for the week or month. Here’s a quick tutorial on how to do that.
You could also hire a Virtual Assistant to post for you using our content.
Can I try out the monthly membership and then switch to quarterly or annual?
Yes, absolutely! We encourage you to try it out for a month to see if it’s a good fit for you. You can then switch to a quarterly or annual plan to save money.
Can I write this off as a business expense?
This is absolutely for business so it’s definitely possible, but (disclaimer)…

Can I customize the posts and templates?
Absolutely, we recommended it! Add your brokerage logo, your photo, your branding others, and any other information.
It’s so easy to edit in Canva, which is a free graphic design website. Just click “Edit” or “Customize” on the design, and it will take you to the Canva website.
How do I update my payment information?
You can update your credit card information on the “My Account” page, here.
How often do you update content?
Daily! We are continually updating content and adding more goodies for you 🙂
Will my rate ever go up?
Nope! As long as you remain an active member, your membership rate is locked in at the price you joined at.
If The Simple Agent’s pricing increases in the future, your rate won’t change.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes! This is a month-to-month service where you can cancel anytime in order to prevent future billings.
You’ll have access to your account for the remainder of your membership period, and it will expire on your re-bill date.
